Radon: The Invisible Indoor Hazard
Radon is a naturally occurring, colorless, odorless radioactive gas that forms from the breakdown of uranium in soil and rock. It can seep into homes through foundation cracks, gaps around pipes, and crawl spaces, accumulating to dangerous levels in poorly ventilated areas — particularly basements.
